Robyn Joanna Seegers-Allers

Designer, illustrator, & certified conjurer of creative chaos (the cool kind).

I bring brands to life with bold ideas, brilliant visuals, and just enough mischief to keep things interesting. I’ve built brand identities with actual personality, crafted social content people want to engage with, and taken photos that do more than just float about in the ether-net.

From campaigns with a cheeky glint, to layouts that flirt with your eyeballs, I do it all with colour, character, and a firm “no thanks” to anything boring.

If your project needs a splash of magic, a clever twist, and a designer who secretly thinks in punchlines, you’ve found the right RJ.

“I am a full-time enthusiast for clever ideas, questionable snacks, and the perfect pencil.”

- A Mad-Lad version of RJ

I believe in colour with confidence, fonts with feelings, and the quiet power of well-placed mischief.

When I’m not buried in a sketchbook or coaxing pixels into place, you’ll find me chasing curiosities, championing weird little details, or talking to inanimate objects like they’re old friends (the basil plant gets a lot of attention).

I’m creatively restless, slightly obsessed with doing things properly, and always chasing that sweet spot between beautiful and brilliantly unexpected. I am the first to say that I care a bit too much, and cannot wait to care about your needs, too.

Say Cheese (or Don’t, I Like Moody Too)

engagement shoot lift and kiss shot

Laugh, Love, Lively Bouquets

Candid, colourful, and never too cheesy — unless that’s the brief. I’m here for the real moments, the awkward giggles, the champagne chaos, and the uncle who won’t leave the dance floor.

Fur, feathers, chaos & charm

From zoomies to side-eye, I capture your furry (or feathery, or scaly) companions in all their glory. Yes, I’ve made a cat look majestic. Yes, I’ve bribed dogs with biscuits. No regrets.

Bright Lights, Big Vibes, Beautiful Noise

Whether it’s a toe-tapping jazz trio or full-volume chaos with questionable pyrotechnics, I’m there in the pit (or politely crouching near the bar) capturing every sweaty solo and crowd-surfing blur. Loud looks good in photos. Who knew?

Design That Talks Back

Decked Out

Taking dry pitch decks & giving them a glow-up. Less yawn, more yes please. Sharp visuals, clear messaging, and just enough flair to make stakeholders blink twice.

Paper With A Punch

From moody gig posters to cheeky event flyers, these are designed to be grabbed, shared, or stolen off notice boards by someone with good taste.

Grid Game Strong

Bringing the socials to life with bold visuals, bitey copy, and layouts that know exactly where your thumbs go. Designed for double-taps and the occasional “omg who did this?”

Slides With Swagger

No more PowerPoint trauma. I turn your content into slick, stylish, semi-miraculous presentations that make you look as brilliant as your meeting notes actually are.

Click Worthy & Clever

Click Worthy & Clever

  • Wildlife Conservation

Built a wild little corner of the internet for Askari, a conservation project with serious heart (and the occasional warthog). Clean layout, earthy visuals, and copy that says “come volunteer” without sounding like a school flyer. Nature never looked so clickable.

  • High End Design

Gave Crema Design’s online presence a tidy refresh. Sleek, minimal, and just smug enough to match the designer furniture they bring in. Think clean layouts, crisp copy, and a digital shopfront that says “we know what a Panton chair is, and yes, it’s worth it.”

  • The Jo Show

Cooked up the Joanna Creatives website — a digital home for all my & my partner’s beautifully unhinged design work.
Expect bold visuals, bitey copy, and a portfolio that behaves just enough to be professional. It’s part scrapbook, part brag-page, and entirely too fun to just be a contact form.

Strategic Shenanigans

Strategic Shenanigans

Form, Function, and Fabulousness

Social media isn’t just vibes and hashtags, it’s a very stylish strategy game, and I love a good plan. I map out content that actually says something, schedule it like a pro, and keep the chaos to a minimum (most of the time).

You could wing it… or you could let me do it properly, with a calendar, a colour palette, and a tiny bit of magic.

Freshly Brewed

From Stories to carousels to reels that don't make you cringe, I design social posts that look good and actually belong in your feed. Need photos edited? Captions finessed? A template that makes your grid sing? Done.

Every post is brewed with intention and just the right amount of bite… No weak tea allowed.

Behind the Curves

There’s a whole lot going on behind the scenes of a good social feed, and I’m knee-deep in it. I track what works, tweak what doesn’t, and turn boring data into actual direction.

Analytics, admin, engagement… the stuff most people avoid, but I secretly love. I’m like a spreadsheet in heels.

Organised Chaos, but Make it Cute

  • From curating the perfect lineup of pieces to making sure everything gets there (and back) in one piece, I handle the beautiful logistics behind creative events and shows. Guest Lists, costing, packing plans… it’s all part of showbiz. Think less clipboard, more creative command centre.

I have worked with Decorex, Cape Town Furniture Week, and Design Indaba.

  • I source, style, and sort the perfect pieces for mags, shoots, lookbooks, expos, you name it. Whether it’s a very specific chair or a feeling you can’t quite describe, I find what fits and make it work. It’s part treasure hunt, part taste test, all in a day’s work.

My flair was been seen with the likes of House & Leisure, Lookbook, Visi, Muse Magazine, GroundGlass Films, and Casta Diva Studios.

  • I keep the chaos cute with colour-coded plans, tight logistics, and inventories that actually make sense. From project timelines to packing lists, I turn the mess into something manageable with a spreadsheet that sparkles and a to-do list that gets done.

My oragnisational efforts have been part of the conversation at Technomobi, Crema Design, and Decorex Cape Town.

  • I speak fluent time zone. From international suppliers to cross-border logistics, I handle the back-and-forth with grace, good humour, and the right currency. Budgets behave, emails land, and nobody ends up shouting in customs… It’s diplomacy, but with better vibes.

I have moved and shook with the best of them at 101Copenhagen, Ferm Living, HAY, Muuto, and Tom Dixon (to spare you the whole list).
